Les États-Unis ne torturent pas leurs prisonniers !
Telle est la déclaration officielle du président Bush lorsque la CIA interrogeait KSM, le cerveau de l’opération 9/11 d’Al-Qaïda.
Ce film retrace année après année la longue et impossible lutte d’un enquêteur du Sénat américain pour dévoiler les agissements de la CIA dans leur Black Sites. Outre l’aspect indigne et parfaitement illégal des faits, ce fameux rapport toujours classé secret défense met en valeur l’inefficacité totale du système mis en place dans l’urgence après les attaques ayant choqué le peuple américain en 2001.
Le film est principalement intéressant pour son aspect informatif et l’ampleur de son propos. C’est tout simplement affolant ! L’impossibilité du système de se réguler et de changer cette situation qui dure depuis trop longtemps sans véritable résultat, est une conclusion glaçante nous invitant à réfléchir sur nos mécanismes de contrôle et leur réelle efficacité.
Ce film Amazon vient alors conclure une très belle fin d’année 2019 pour Adam Driver qui incarne le rôle principal, après le film Netflix « Marriage Story » et le dernier Star Wars « L’Ascension de Skywalker ». Il incarne cet enquêteur travaillant pour la sénatrice séniore de Californie jouée par Annette Bening avec également Jon Hamm en conseiller de la Maison Blanche faisant de son mieux pour concilier les différents acteurs de la partie en bon joueur sur l’échiquier politique.
A ne pas manquer pour toute personne intéressée par ces sujets politico-légaux actuels que le cinéma nous révèle pour éveiller les consciences (tel que « Dark Waters » très prochainement) !

This was the official statement of President Bush when the CIA interrogated KSM, the mastermind of Al Qaeda’s 9/11 operation.
This film follows year after year the long and impossible struggle of a U.S. Senate investigator to expose the CIA’s actions at their Black Sites. In addition to the undignified and perfectly illegal aspect of the facts, this notorious report, still classified, highlights the total ineffectiveness of the system set up as a matter of urgency after the attacks that shocked the American people in 2001.
The film is mainly interesting for its informative aspect and the breadth of its subject matter. It’s simply appalling! The impossibility of the system to regulate itself and to change this situation, which has been going on for too long without any real results, is a chilling conclusion inviting us to reflect on our control mechanisms and their real effectiveness.
This Amazon film concludes a very beautiful end of the year 2019 for Adam Driver who plays the main role, after the Netflix movie “Marriage Story” and the last Star Wars “The Rise of Skywalker”. He plays this investigator working for the senior senator of California played by Annette Bening with also Jon Hamm as White House advisor doing his best to accommodate the different actors of the game as a good player on the political chessboard.
Not to be missed by anyone interested in these current political-legal subjects that the cinema reveals to us to awaken consciences (such as “Dark Waters” very soon)!
