En quelques mots :
Guy Ritchie continue malheureusement sa saga de déceptions streaming avec ce nouveau film Apple TV+ à gros budget ($180M !!!) sans intérêt ni fun. John Krasinski est appréciable mais joue complètement dans un autre film que les autres acteurs (à l’exception peut-être d’Eiza Gonzalez) avec une Natalie Portman déconnectée du ton d’un tel film. La mise en scène et la réalisation sont assez pauvres et appauvrissent les décors et les quelques scènes correctes. Quant au scénario c’est entre Benjamin Gates et Indiana Jones mais sans cette once entraînante d’aventure. En somme, c’est du réchauffé … mais mal cuit !

Guy Ritchie unfortunately carries on his saga of streaming disappointments with this new big-budget ($180M!!!) Apple TV+ film that’s neither interesting nor entertaining. John Krasinski is enjoyable, but he’s completely out of place with the rest of the cast (with perhaps the exception of Eiza Gonzalez), with Natalie Portman out of tune with the tone of such a film. The staging and direction are quite poor, diminishing the set designs and the few decent scenes. As for the screenplay, it’s somewhere between Benjamin Gates and Indiana Jones, but without the exciting element of adventure. Overall, it’s reheated… but undercooked!
