Apr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0Bo\u00eete noire\u00a0\u00bb, le r\u00e9alisateur nous emm\u00e8ne une nouvelle fois (en partie) dans le monde de l\u2019aviation, cette fois-ci avec le personnage d\u2019Estelle, pilote de ligne au train de vie millim\u00e9tr\u00e9 et dont l\u2019existence est perturb\u00e9e par ses retrouvailles avec Ana, une ancienne amante qui (re)dispara\u00eet aussi vite qu\u2019elle est (r\u00e9)apparue.<\/p><p>Si l\u2019intrigue met du temps \u00e0 se mettre en place, c\u2019est parce qu\u2019elle fonctionne par bribes d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nements de vie, de souvenirs et d\u2019hallucinations qui surgissent dans la t\u00eate d\u2019Estelle. Le long-m\u00e9trage instaure peu \u00e0 peu une confusion, o\u00f9 le r\u00e9el et le r\u00eav\u00e9\/cauchemard\u00e9 s\u2019emm\u00ealent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que nous parviennent les clefs de r\u00e9solution de l\u2019histoire. L\u2019on rentre ainsi progressivement dans le flou et les interrogations d\u2019Estelle, dans ses visions en tous genres qui d\u00e9t\u00e9riorent sa sant\u00e9 et ses relations \u2013 \u00e0 moins que ce soit l\u2019inverse. La fin surprend alors, car sans remettre en question les perceptions d\u2019Estelle, elle en propose une autre approche, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des allers-retours entre visions et r\u00e9alit\u00e9s.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0Visions\u00a0\u00bb est un film bien r\u00e9alis\u00e9, avec des couleurs et \u00e9clairages accroissant le sentiment de confusion, et de tr\u00e8s beaux plans \u00e0 la limite de l\u2019onirique et de l\u2019hypnotique. Que ce soient les tr\u00e8s gros plans d\u2019yeux du g\u00e9n\u00e9rique initial, ceux des sc\u00e8nes tant d\u2019int\u00e9rieur [le contr\u00f4le moderne\u2026] que d\u2019ext\u00e9rieur [\u2026 contre la nature sauvage], ou ceux des m\u00e9duses et de la mer qui ondulent incessamment. Sans oublier bien s\u00fbr la superbe reproduction des d\u00e9cors d\u2019aviation \u2013 mention sp\u00e9ciale pour le cockpit\u00a0!<\/p><p>Le b\u00e2t blesse n\u00e9anmoins dans le traitement du triangle amoureux que constituent grosso modo l\u2019influen\u00e7able Estelle (Diane Kruger), la sulfureuse Ana (Marta Nieto) et le m\u00e9fiant Guillaume (Mathieu Kassovitz). Le lesbianisme, en particulier, n\u2019est ici pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ou presque que sous l\u2019angle de la sexualit\u00e9 et non de la sentimentalit\u00e9. Heureusement, ce triangle relationnel se r\u00e9v\u00e8le plus complexe au fil de l\u2019intrigue\u00a0; et le bien et le mal, le r\u00e9el et le r\u00eav\u00e9, ne se retrouvent finalement pas tout \u00e0 fait l\u00e0 o\u00f9 l\u2019on pensait les trouver.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Axel Chevalier<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-42480e6 elementor-widget__width-initial exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"42480e6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><p>Yann Gozlan&rsquo;s thriller \u201cVisions\u201d lives up to its name. After \u201cBlack Box\u201d, the French director once again takes us (in part) into the world of aviation, this time with the character of Estelle, an airline pilot with a meticulous lifestyle whose daily life is disrupted by her reunion with Ana, a former lover who (re)disappears as quickly as she (re)appeared.<\/p><p>If the plot takes a while to get going, it&rsquo;s because it unfolds in bits and pieces of life events, memories and hallucinations that pop into Estelle&rsquo;s mind. The film gradually builds up a sense of confusion, where the real and the dreamy\/nightmarish become entangled, until the keys to the story&rsquo;s resolution are revealed. In this way, we gradually enter into Estelle&rsquo;s confusion and questioning, her visions of all kinds deteriorating her health and her relationships &#8211; or perhaps it&rsquo;s the other way round. The ending is then a surprise, because without calling Estelle&rsquo;s perceptions into question, it offers a different approach, thanks in particular to the back-and-forth between visions and realities.<\/p><p>\u201cVisions\u201d is a well-made film, with colors and lighting that enhance the sense of confusion, and beautiful shots that border on the dreamlike and hypnotic. Whether it&rsquo;s the close-ups of eyes in the opening credits, the interior scenes [modern control&#8230;] or the exterior scenes [&#8230; against the wilderness], or the jellyfish and sea that ripple incessantly. Not forgetting, of course, the brilliant depiction of aviation scenery &#8211; with a special shout-out for the cockpit!<\/p><p>The main problem, however, lies in the depiction of the love triangle between the easily seduced Estelle (Diane Kruger), the sultry Ana (Marta Nieto) and the distrustful Guillaume (Mathieu Kassovitz). Lesbianism, in particular, is almost exclusively presented here in terms of sexuality, and not sentimentality. Luckily, this relationship triangle becomes more complex as the plot progresses, and good and evil, reality and fantasy, don&rsquo;t end up quite where we thought they would.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Axel Chevalier<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e213b9d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default
