\u00ab\u00a0BRI\u00a0\u00bb qui reprenait les codes de la s\u00e9rie polici\u00e8re dans une approche tr\u00e8s r\u00e9aliste, la cha\u00eene <em>Canal+<\/em> revient cet automne avec une nouvelle s\u00e9rie fran\u00e7aise renouvelant cette fois le genre judiciaire. Derri\u00e8re ce titre \u00e9nigmatique pour qui n\u2019a pas fait de droit (r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019article disposant du secret professionnel de l\u2019avocat), se cache un r\u00e9cit juridique \u00e0 la fois palpitant et r\u00e9aliste cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Anne Landois, sc\u00e9nariste des saisons 3 \u00e0 6 de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre s\u00e9rie \u00ab\u00a0Engrenages\u00a0\u00bb (\u00e9galement diffus\u00e9e par <em>Canal+<\/em>). \u00ab\u00a066-5\u00a0\u00bb met en sc\u00e8ne le parcours de Roxane, une jeune avocate d\u2019affaires d\u2019un prestigieux cabinet parisien qui demande \u00e0 faire ses preuves et voit son quotidien bouscul\u00e9 par l\u2019accusation de viol d\u2019une stagiaire contre son mari et confr\u00e8re avocat. Sa vie bascule alors de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du p\u00e9riph o\u00f9 elle prend de nouvelles habitudes qui la rapprochent de sa m\u00e8re, de sa s\u0153ur, de son amie d\u2019enfance \u2026 de son pass\u00e9. La s\u00e9rie repose donc sur ce passage du p\u00e9riph tel un d\u00e9placement dans l\u2019espace doubl\u00e9 d\u2019un voyage dans le temps avec une protagoniste de retour dans la cit\u00e9 o\u00f9 elle a grandi. Ce trajet g\u00e9ographique est donc aussi social et intime et recoupe la carri\u00e8re de sa sc\u00e9nariste.<\/p><p>Cette s\u00e9rie judiciaire prend ainsi in\u00e9vitablement ses racines dans l\u2019univers de \u00ab\u00a0Engrenages\u00a0\u00bb mais prend \u00e9galement une direction diff\u00e9rente avec une jeune h\u00e9ro\u00efne pleine de doutes encore loin de la femme fatale d\u2019Audrey Fleurot, et un th\u00e9\u00e2tre bien diff\u00e9rent o\u00f9 la banlieue est d\u00e9sormais le centre de l\u2019intrigue renvoyant Paris en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie du sc\u00e9nario. Anne Landois a clairement voulu mettre en lumi\u00e8re cette banlieue, par opposition aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s plus sombres de la s\u00e9rie \u00ab\u00a0Engrenages\u00a0\u00bb, pour la montrer comme un lieu non seulement habitable, respirable, tr\u00e8s vivant mais \u00e9galement plein d\u2019enjeux \u00e0 conqu\u00e9rir. Lorsqu\u2019elle est \u00e0 Paris, Roxane est en repr\u00e9sentation, tr\u00e8s habill\u00e9e, maquill\u00e9e, et avec des bijoux ostentatoires, puis peu \u00e0 peu, elle enl\u00e8ve tout. Symbole d\u2019une transfuge de classe, c\u2019est une battante qu\u2019Alice Isaaz (La cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me\u00a0; Play\u00a0; Couleurs de l\u2019incendie) interpr\u00e8te brillamment, aussi convaincante dans ses relations de \u2018caillera\u2019 qu\u2019au cours d\u2019une plaidoirie. Si elle porte clairement la s\u00e9rie, elle est accompagn\u00e9e par de nombreux seconds r\u00f4les tr\u00e8s r\u00e9ussis dont on d\u00e9couvre aussi bien la complexit\u00e9 que l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a066-5\u00a0\u00bb n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 tous les clich\u00e9s, mais elle les contourne intelligemment et \u2013 sans \u00eatre r\u00e9volutionnaire \u2013 pose un regard neuf sur cet univers. L\u2019exercice du droit y est bouscul\u00e9 par les destins individuels des personnages et bien \u00e9videmment la dynamique flics-voyous. A travers un r\u00e9cit nerveux \u2013 d\u00e8s le deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9pisode qui introduit des enjeux pleins de tension \u2013 la s\u00e9rie nous plonge dans l\u2019envers de Bobigny et en laissant Paris en marge nous captive jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin. Behind this cryptic title for anyone not familiar with French law (a reference to the article defining lawyer-client privilege) lies a legal drama that is both thrilling and realistic, created by Anne Landois, scriptwriter of seasons 3 to 6 of the acclaimed series \u201cSpiral\u201d (also broadcast by <em>Canal+<\/em>). \u201c66-5\u201d follows Roxane, a young commercial lawyer in a prestigious Parisian firm, who is eager to prove herself but finds her daily life turned upside down by a trainee&rsquo;s accusation of rape against her husband and fellow lawyer. Her life then shifts to the other side of the ring road, where she picks up new habits that bring her closer to her mother, her sister, her childhood friend&#8230; to her past. The series is therefore built on this crossing of the ring road as a journey through space coupled with a journey through time, with the protagonist returning to the neighborhood she grew up in. This geographical journey is therefore also social and personal, and overlaps with the career of its scriptwriter.<\/p><p>This legal drama show is thus inevitably anchored in the world of \u201cSpiral\u201d, but also takes a different path, with a young heroine full of doubts, still a far cry from Audrey Fleurot&rsquo;s femme fatale, and a very different setting where the suburbs are now the center of the plot, leaving Paris on the periphery of the script. In contrast to the darker sides of the \u201cSpiral\u201d TV show, Anne Landois clearly wanted to bring the suburbs into the spotlight, showing them to be not only habitable, breathable and lively, but also full of challenges to be conquered. This can be seen in the cinematography, with its powdered lenses flooding the picture with crimson light, and in the light-permeated settings, such as the Bobigny courthouse and its architecture, with its skylights letting in the sun.<\/p><p>The heroine exemplifies the gap between two worlds and the difficult transition from one to the other. When she&rsquo;s in Paris, Roxane performs, dressed to the nines, wearing make-up and flashy jewelry, then she gradually takes it all off. A symbol of a class breaker, she is a fighter, brilliantly played by Alice Isaaz (Cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me; Play; The Colors of Fire), just as convincing in her tough-guy relationships as she is in a courtroom argument. While she clearly drives the whole show, she is joined by a number of great supporting characters, whose complexity and humanity are revealed at every turn.<\/p><p>\u201c66-5\u201d doesn&rsquo;t avoid all the clich\u00e9s, but it cleverly moves away from them and \u2013 while not revolutionary \u2013 offers a fresh look at this world.
