No matter the place, no matter the amount of people, loneliness hangs on Adam, crushing and shattering him. Andrew Haigh also manages to unfold an entire staging of silence. Exchanges are absent, and Adam is torn apart by a muteness that takes shape in the reflection of a subway window or a nightclub mirror.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">And in this darkness that grips you hard, right down to your dullest fears, Andrew Haigh manages to capture a welcome gentleness from an intense sex scene to the most heartfelt discussions.
