\u00e9poques de la vie du peintre, sa dualit\u00e9 entre sa carri\u00e8re et son amour pour Marthe. Une distanciation qui se rompt peu \u00e0 peu au cours du temps. \u00ab\u00a0Pierre, Bonnard et Marthe\u00a0\u00bb est un film d\u2019amour qui n\u2019oublie pourtant pas son m\u00e9dium principal, ponctuant le film des peintures les plus connues de l\u2019auteur. C\u2019est donc bien au travers d\u2019un d\u00e9dale pictural et romanesque que le film de Martin Provost (\u00ab La bonne \u00e9pouse \u00bb, \u00ab S\u00e9raphine \u00bb) nous s\u00e9duit. Un film o\u00f9 la passion l\u2019emporte trop souvent sur l\u2019amour.<\/p><p>Avant de devenir Bonnard, Pierre est peintre en devenir. Il rencontre Marthe dans la rue et lui demande de poser. Alors qu\u2019il finit la peinture de Marthe, il comprend qu\u2019elle est plus qu\u2019un mod\u00e8le, elle est sa muse, la femme de tous ses tableaux.<\/p><p>Malgr\u00e9 une premi\u00e8re partie lancinante et maladroitement cousue, \u00ab Pierre, Bonnard et Marthe \u00bb parvient dans sa derni\u00e8re demi-heure \u00e0 frapper notre esprit d\u2019une puissante m\u00e9lancolie. Une fin nostalgique accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une remarquable composition musicale (qui ponctue d\u2019ailleurs tout le film). Un film \u00e0 la structure narrative chronologique dirig\u00e9 par des interpr\u00e8tes qui portent avec eux une \u00e9trange douceur, un sentiment commun, celui une am\u00e8re insouciance. A gap that is gradually broken over time. \u201cPierre: Bonnard &amp; Marthe\u201d is a love story that never forgets its primary medium, punctuating the film with the artist&rsquo;s most famous paintings. Martin Provost&rsquo;s film (\u201cHow to be a good wife\u201d, \u201cSeraphine\u201d) draws us into a pictorial and romantic maze. A film in which passion too often wins out over love.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Before becoming Bonnard, Pierre was an aspiring painter. He meets Marthe in the street and asks her to pose. As he finishes Marthe&rsquo;s painting, he realizes that she&rsquo;s more than a model; she&rsquo;s his muse, the woman in all his paintings.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Despite a slow, poorly crafted first half, \u201cPierre, Bonnard &amp; Marthe\u201d manages to leave us with a powerful melancholy in its last half-hour. A nostalgic ending enhanced by a brilliant musical composition (which punctuates the entire film). A film with a chronological narrative structure led by performers who carry with them a strange gentleness, a common feeling, that of bitter insouciance.
