Telle serait la morale de \u00ab L\u2019Innocence \u00bb, dernier long-m\u00e9trage r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Hirokazu Kore-eda (auteur derni\u00e8rement notamment d\u2019\u00ab Une affaire de famille \u00bb et des \u00ab Bonnes \u00c9toiles \u00bb). Doublement r\u00e9compens\u00e9 au Festival de Cannes, le film nous raconte l\u2019histoire de Minato, un jeune gar\u00e7on qui semble de plus en plus distant, de plus en plus \u00e9trange et de plus en plus malheureux. Sa m\u00e8re s\u2019en inqui\u00e8te, mais elle n\u2019est pas la seule et, pire, la situation para\u00eet \u00e9chapper \u00e0 tout le monde\u2026<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Gratifi\u00e9 du Prix cannois du meilleur sc\u00e9nario, \u00ab L\u2019Innocence \u00bb a sc\u00e9naristiquement une structure particuli\u00e8re, consistant en une succession de points de vue qui nourrissent non seulement l\u2019intrigue mais aussi les personnages qui la peuplent. En basculant d\u2019une focale \u00e0 une autre, l\u2019on d\u00e9couvre ou red\u00e9couvre des sous-r\u00e9cits qui ne sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 jamais secondaires, mais compl\u00e9mentaires. L\u2019on ne peut ainsi pas comprendre l\u2019histoire dans son ensemble sans la d\u00e9cortiquer : une proviseure secr\u00e8te devient alors tout aussi importante qu\u2019un professeur investi ou une m\u00e8re surprotectrice, car tous leurs tourments comptent, m\u00eame indirectement, dans ceux de Minato, et vice-versa.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Le film traite par ailleurs de l\u2019amour et de tous les sentiments, tant positifs que n\u00e9gatifs, qui en \u00e9manent. De cet amour maternel nourri d\u2019espoirs et de craintes. De cet amour social d\u2019\u00eatre avec autrui et qui parfois se transforme en haine. De cet amour premier et pur, de soi et de l\u2019autre, qui quelquefois \u00e9blouit \u00e0 en faire souffrir, \u00e0 en perdre son innocence, \u00e0 en croire qu\u2019on est un monstre (\u602a\u7269), un \u00eatre bizarre, queer \u2013 comme la Palme qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cern\u00e9e au film.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Dramatique, m\u00e9lancolique mais aussi par moments po\u00e9tique, \u00ab L\u2019Innocence \u00bb nous rappelle la fragilit\u00e9 de l\u2019enfance o\u00f9 tout passe pour possible avant que la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ne nous rattrape. Les couleurs varient ainsi selon les points de vue, de m\u00eame que la perception des personnages \u2013 magnifiquement interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s tant par les enfants que par les adultes. Such would be the moral of \u201cMonster\u201d, the latest feature film from director Hirokazu Kore-eda (most recently of \u201cShoplifters\u201d and \u201cBroker\u201d). A double award-winner at the Cannes Film Festival, the film tells the story of Minato, a young boy who seems increasingly distant, strange and unhappy. His mother worries, but she&rsquo;s not the only one, and what&rsquo;s worse, the situation seems to be getting out of hand&#8230;<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Winner of the Cannes Film Prize for Best Screenplay, \u201cMonster\u201d has a distinctive story structure, consisting of a succession of points of view that nurture not only the plot but also its characters. By switching from one focal point to another, we discover or rediscover sub-narratives that are never secondary, but complementary. A secret principal becomes just as important as an invested teacher or an overprotective mother, because all their torments count, albeit indirectly, in Minato&rsquo;s, and vice versa.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The film is also about love and all the feelings, both positive and negative, that emanate from it. Maternal love, nourished by hopes and fears. The social love of being with others, which sometimes turns into hatred. A love that is pure and primary, for oneself and for others, that sometimes dazzles to the point of pain, of losing one&rsquo;s innocence, of believing that one is a monster (\u602a\u7269), a bizarre, queer being \u2013 like the award that was given to the film.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">A dramatic, melancholy film that is also at times poetic, \u201cMonster\u201d recalls the fragility of childhood, when everything seems possible before reality catches up with us. The colors vary according to the point of view, as do the perceptions of the characters \u2013 wonderfully interpreted by both children and adults. A bittersweet, subtle film, in which everything doesn&rsquo;t need to be explained, the slow tragedy filling in the rest.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Axel
