Sans jamais s\u2019\u00e9loigner de son concept de base ni trop extrapoler, ce dixi\u00e8me volet est un bon rafra\u00eechissement qui \u00ab \u00e9gayera \u00bb tant les fid\u00e8les que les initi\u00e9\u00b7es.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"16jqn-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"16jqn-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"16jqn-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"6grmu-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6grmu-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6grmu-0-0\">R\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Kevin Greutert (monteur puis r\u00e9alisateur de quasiment tous les opus), \u00ab Saw X \u00bb est un interstice de la franchise, peut-\u00eatre artificiel mais bienvenu, nich\u00e9 entre les premier et deuxi\u00e8me volets. L\u2019on y retrouve ainsi notre iconique \u201cTueur au Puzzle\u201d John Kramer (Tobin Bell) assist\u00e9 d\u2019Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith) dans la r\u00e9gion de Mexico. Kramer, atteint d\u2019une tumeur au cerveau, pense y trouver des m\u00e9decins avant-gardistes et capables de le soigner. Mais il d\u00e9couvrira rapidement la supercherie ; sa vengeance sera au niveau de son d\u00e9sespoir\u2026<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"7mb8o-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7mb8o-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7mb8o-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"du9rj-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"du9rj-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"du9rj-0-0\">Le film reprend tous les codes \u00e9c\u0153urants, percutants et transper\u00e7ants de la saga, \u00e0 commencer \u00e9videmment par les sc\u00e8nes de tr\u00e8s forte tension m\u00eal\u00e9e \u00e0 de l\u2019ultra gore, o\u00f9 les pi\u00e8ges m\u00e9caniques de Kramer \u2013 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s de surcro\u00eet avec cette m\u00eame (d\u00e9s)agr\u00e9able th\u00e9\u00e2tralit\u00e9 incarn\u00e9e par la poup\u00e9e et les extraits audios ou vid\u00e9o \u2013, redoublent toujours d\u2019ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9. Membre d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de thrillers avant tout, \u00ab Saw X \u00bb ne d\u00e9roge pas non plus \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle du grand retournement de situation, o\u00f9 le puzzle prend finalement forme parmi les visc\u00e8res. Enfin, comment ne pas appr\u00e9cier un film centr\u00e9 un peu plus sur ce John Kramer paradoxalement idol\u00e2tr\u00e9 ?<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"7mddd-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7mddd-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7mddd-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"4n5at-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"4n5at-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4n5at-0-0\">Ce m\u00eame Tueur au Puzzle qui, dans \u00ab Saw X \u00bb, para\u00eet plus humain, plus fragile aussi, \u00e0 chercher un sens \u00e0 son \u0153uvre meurtri\u00e8re et salvatrice et \u00e0 la transmettre, tant \u00e0 ses victimes qu\u2019\u00e0 Amanda, son apprentie \u2013 qui malheureusement perd un peu de son aura dans ce volet, \u00e0 n\u2019\u00eatre qu\u2019une arp\u00e8te rong\u00e9e par le doute et la peur. Le long-m\u00e9trage se veut ainsi plus philosophique que les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, interrogeant la place de la morale et la notion de justice (toutes deux potentiellement subjectives), d\u2019o\u00f9 des dialogues plus pouss\u00e9s et des sc\u00e8nes plus touchantes qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019accoutum\u00e9e. Without ever straying too far from its core concept or over-extrapolating, this tenth installment is a refreshing change of pace that will delight both the fans and the enthusiasts.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"6ge1j-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6ge1j-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6ge1j-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"fjl0c-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"fjl0c-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fjl0c-0-0\">Directed by Kevin Greutert (editor and then director of nearly all the previous titles), \u201cSaw X\u201d is a welcome but perhaps artificial wedge in the franchise, set between the first and second installments. It features our iconic \u00ab\u00a0Jigsaw Killer\u00a0\u00bb John Kramer (Tobin Bell) alongside Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith) in the Mexico City area. Kramer, suffering from a brain tumor, thinks he&rsquo;ll find some cutting-edge doctors able to cure him. But he soon discovers the deception, and his revenge is only as desperate as his despair&#8230;<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"8ro12-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"8ro12-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"8ro12-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"6gmn4-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6gmn4-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6gmn4-0-0\">The film takes up all the saga&rsquo;s nauseating, hard-hitting and gut-punching codes, starting of course with scenes of high tension mixed with ultra-gore, where Kramer&rsquo;s mechanical traps \u2013 displayed with that same (dis)pleasing theatricality embodied by the doll and the audio or video clips \u2013 always go beyond their ingenuity. As part of a series of thrillers, \u201cSaw X\u201d is no exception to the rule of the big twist, where the puzzle finally takes shape among the guts. Finally, how could we fail to value a film that focuses a little more on the paradoxically idolized John Kramer?<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"9l5ns-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9l5ns-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9l5ns-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bmmsj\" data-offset-key=\"1jdp7-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1jdp7-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1jdp7-0-0\">This same Jigsaw who, in \u201cSaw X\u201d, appears more human, more fragile too, searching for meaning in his murderous and life-saving work and passing it on, both to his victims and to Amanda, his apprentice \u2013 who unfortunately loses some of her prestige in this instalment, becoming nothing more than an apprentice consumed by doubt and fear. The film is thus more philosophical than the previous ones, questioning the place of morality and the notion of justice (both potentially subjective), resulting in more elaborate dialogue and more touching scenes than usual. This is therefore a calmer \u201cSaw\u201d, but also a more mature one.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div data-offset-key=\"1jdp7-0-0\">Axel
