Sens de la F\u00eate \u00bb, le super duo de r\u00e9alisateurs \u00c9ric Toledano et Olivier Nakache est de retour avec leur nouvelle com\u00e9die \u00ab Une ann\u00e9e difficile \u00bb. On y suit les aventures d\u2019un groupe de militants \u00e9colos parisiens, rejoints sur un concours de circonstances par un duo d\u2019adultes loufoques et surendett\u00e9s, que rien ne pr\u00e9destinait \u00e0 s\u2019engager pour cette cause.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"45h9n-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"45h9n-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"45h9n-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"as9ob-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"as9ob-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"as9ob-0-0\">\u00ab Une ann\u00e9e difficile \u00bb fonctionne tr\u00e8s bien : il est avant tout tr\u00e8s dr\u00f4le, notamment gr\u00e2ce au poilant personnage de Bruno (brillamment incarn\u00e9 par Jonathan Cohen). Un tr\u00e8s bon jeu d\u2019acteur global est d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 souligner, port\u00e9 par Pio Marma\u00ef (Albert, acolyte de Bruno), No\u00e9mie Merlant (Cactus) et Mathieu Amalric (Henri). Plusieurs tr\u00e8s belles sc\u00e8nes marqueront le spectateur \u2013 notamment celle d\u2019introduction \u2013 proche de la farce surr\u00e9aliste parodiant (ou pas) la folie de notre \u00e9poque. Aucun personnage n\u2019est ici \u00e9pargn\u00e9, tous sont moqu\u00e9s et tourn\u00e9s en douce d\u00e9rision. C\u2019est justement ce qui les rend aussi cr\u00e9dibles qu\u2019hilarants (bien que parfois un peu caricaturaux).<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"cjbps-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"cjbps-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"cjbps-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"7b44a-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7b44a-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7b44a-0-0\">L\u2019histoire en elle-m\u00eame tient bien la route, proposant un sujet s\u00e9rieux (l\u2019engagement pour la plan\u00e8te) comme tr\u00e8s bon support au d\u00e9veloppement de la com\u00e9die. L\u2019ossature travaill\u00e9e du film en deux axes fait penser \u00e0 \u00ab Samba \u00bb (2014) agr\u00e9ment\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments bien plus dr\u00f4les, qui rappelleront \u00ab Intouchables (2011) et \u00ab Le Sens de la F\u00eate \u00bb (2017). L\u2019enchev\u00eatrement entre les deux arcs narratifs (le militantisme \u00e9cologique et le surendettement) fonctionne tr\u00e8s bien. <\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"8kf2q-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"8kf2q-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"8kf2q-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"75v7n-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"75v7n-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"75v7n-0-0\">En touchant une large audience par un film accessible et peu stigmatisant, \u00ab Une ann\u00e9e difficile \u00bb r\u00e9ussit son pari : parler d\u2019\u00e9cologie en s\u2019en moquant d\u2019un juste dosage. Il donne assur\u00e9ment envie de s\u2019engager gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce bon moment de cin\u00e9ma qu\u2019il propose. <\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"12ph7-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"12ph7-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"12ph7-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"bjvqb-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bjvqb-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bjvqb-0-0\">Un reproche qui pourra \u00eatre fait \u00e0 Nakache et Toledano pour ce film est sa fin ambigu\u00eb qui ne convainc pas vraiment, et quelques sc\u00e8nes un peu surprenantes (anecdotiques sur l\u2019ensemble). The movie follows the adventures of a group of Parisian environmental activists, who are joined by a pair of zany, over-indebted adults who, by a twist of fate, would never have been destined to take up this cause.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"d7646-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"d7646-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"d7646-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"am33d-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"am33d-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"am33d-0-0\">\u201cA Difficult Year\u201d works very well: above all, it&rsquo;s very funny, thanks in particular to the hilarious character of Bruno (brilliantly played by Jonathan Cohen). There&rsquo;s some excellent acting throughout, by Pio Marmai (Albert, Bruno&rsquo;s sidekick), No\u00e9mie Merlant (Cactus) and Mathieu Amalric (Henri). There are a number of memorable scenes \u2013 like the opening one \u2013 which verges on surrealistic farce, parodying (or not) the madness of our times. No character is left behind here, they are all mocked and gently derided. And that&rsquo;s precisely what makes them as credible as they are funny (although sometimes a little caricatured).<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"5u8be-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5u8be-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5u8be-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"9ovlu-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9ovlu-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9ovlu-0-0\">The story itself holds up well, using a serious subject matter (the commitment to the planet) as an excellent backdrop for the comedy. The film&rsquo;s elaborate two-axis structure is reminiscent of \u201cSamba\u201d (2014), with some much funnier elements, reminiscent of \u201cThe Intouchables\u201d (2011) and \u201cC\u2019est la vie!\u201d (2017). The intertwining of the two story-arcs (environmental activism and over-indebtedness) works very well.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"s46t-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"s46t-0-0\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"2s0g5-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"2s0g5-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"2s0g5-0-0\">By reaching a wide audience with a film that is accessible and not stigmatizing, \u201cA Difficult Year\u201d succeeds in its gamble: talking about ecology while poking fun at it in the right proportion. It certainly makes you want to get involved, thanks to the great cinematic experience it offers.<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"6d1qv-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6d1qv-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6d1qv-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"f67i8\" data-offset-key=\"bdace-0-0\"><div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bdace-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bdace-0-0\">One criticism that could be levelled at Nakache and Toledano for this film is its ambiguous ending, which isn\u2019t really convincing, and a few slightly surprising scenes (anecdotal overall).
