Mais force est de constater, que la s\u00e9rie a probablement trouv\u00e9 la formule juste pour son r\u00e9cit dans une troisi\u00e8me saison qui r\u00e9ussie hautement sa mission.<\/p><p>La saison s\u2019ouvre ainsi sur un \u00e9pisode de guerre totale en Ukraine donnant imm\u00e9diatement le ton pour la suite. \u00ab\u00a0Lioness\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9ussit toujours aussi bien sa gestion de la tension du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin au gr\u00e9 de dialogues encore assez fonctionnels et explicatifs malgr\u00e9 de bonnes interactions de personnages, notamment dans une intrigue centr\u00e9e cette fois sur les risques familiaux pour la protagoniste \u2013 bien que les personnages secondaires restent sous-d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s, en particulier le traitement de la famille qui reste tr\u00e8s sch\u00e9matique. Autour de sa troupe principale \u2013 qui est pass\u00e9e de force de r\u00e9action rapide \u00e0 \u00e9quipe d\u2019intervention commando dans les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes saisons, avant de devenir ici la garde rapproch\u00e9e de notre h\u00e9ro\u00efne \u2013 la s\u00e9rie maintient donc son rythme effr\u00e9n\u00e9 d\u2019ennemis et de menaces ext\u00e9rieures. Cela est surtout d\u00fb \u00e0 une seconde saison qui a dissip\u00e9 les conflits internes (que ce soit le duel de leadership au sein du programme de la CIA, les difficult\u00e9s personnelles de la recrue, ou les imp\u00e9ratifs de la hi\u00e9rarchie) au profit d\u2019un groupe enti\u00e8rement uni qui fait face \u00e0 un ensemble de conflits \u00e9trangers, perdant probablement un peu en subtilit\u00e9 mais gagnant en efficacit\u00e9.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30630 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6758.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"775\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6758.png 1500w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6758-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6758-1024x529.png 1024w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6758-768x397.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p><p>Mais l\u00e0 o\u00f9 cette saison se distingue v\u00e9ritablement c\u2019est dans la construction narrative qui introduit une double temporalit\u00e9 dans une structure qui parfois alterne entre les \u00e9pisodes et parfois les scinde pour d\u00e9doubler les enjeux et les faire se r\u00e9pondre dans d\u2019int\u00e9ressants parall\u00e8les qui cr\u00e9ent un r\u00e9cit particuli\u00e8rement captivant. Celui-ci m\u00e9lange de plus la dimension espionne de la premi\u00e8re saison avec l\u2019ambiance plus militaire de la seconde dans une intrigue habilement ficel\u00e9e qui m\u00eale int\u00e9r\u00eats p\u00e9troliers, conflit russo-ukrainien, agents double et n\u00e9gociations entre services de renseignements pour relier le tout avec le c\u0153ur de l\u2019intrigue sur l\u2019infiltration de la premi\u00e8re saison dans une conclusion qui pour la premi\u00e8re fois r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une vraie attente pour sa prochaine saison. De ce point de vue-l\u00e0, c\u2019est peut-\u00eatre moins original qu\u2019au d\u00e9but, mais cette saison est certainement plus ma\u00eetris\u00e9e et s\u2019impose probablement comme la meilleure de la s\u00e9rie \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p><p>Mais si la trame est de qualit\u00e9, tout comme l\u2019\u00e9criture et la r\u00e9alisation, derri\u00e8re tout \u00e7a cette saison intrigue aussi pour le flou id\u00e9ologique qu\u2019elle maintient. Car si l\u2019on commence \u00e0 regarder cette saison sous l\u2019angle politique et son message de fond, \u00ab Lioness \u00bb sert vraiment de plaidoyer pour plus de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au gr\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements favorisant un discours tr\u00e8s pro-armes, anti-r\u00e9gulation et anti-syst\u00e8me sur la d\u00e9sinformation des m\u00e9dias dans une vision du monde (am\u00e9ricain) faite de menaces constantes et donc de besoin constant de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, sans le moindre horizon de paix. L\u2019intrigue d\u2019espionnage s\u2019aventure m\u00eame \u2013 de mani\u00e8re int\u00e9ressante il est vrai \u2013 dans des hypoth\u00e8ses tr\u00e8s anti-alli\u00e9s et anti-Ukraine. Mais d\u2019un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, cette m\u00eame saison ne diminue pas non plus le poids de ses actions \u2013 un meurtre est un meurtre, ce n\u2019est pas qu\u2019un dommage collat\u00e9ral de la guerre \u2013 en explorant assez loin les cons\u00e9quences des erreurs et errements de la CIA (tuerie civile, \u00e9change inutile, mine d\u2019or d\u2019information sacrifi\u00e9e). But clearly, the series seems to have found the right formula for its narrative in a third season that more than fulfills its mission.<\/p><p>The season thus opens with an episode of all-out war in Ukraine, immediately setting the tone for what\u2019s to come. \u201cLioness\u201d continues to excel at building tension from start to finish, relying on dialogue that remains somewhat functional and expository despite strong character interactions, particularly in a plot that this time centers on the family risks facing the protagonist \u2013 though the supporting characters remain underdeveloped, especially the portrayal of the family, which remains very superficial. Around its core unit \u2013 which has evolved from a QRF to a proper strike group in previous seasons, before becoming our heroine\u2019s personal security detail here \u2013 the series thus maintains its breakneck pace of enemies and external threats. This is largely due to a second season that has swept away internal conflicts (whether the leadership struggle within the CIA program, the recruit\u2019s personal struggles, or the priorities of the hierarchy) in favor of a fully united group facing a series of external conflicts, likely losing a bit of subtlety but gaining in efficacy.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30629 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6757.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"775\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6757.png 1500w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6757-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6757-1024x529.png 1024w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Snapshot_6757-768x397.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p><p>But where this season truly stands out is in its narrative structure, which introduces a dual timeline \u2013 sometimes alternating between episodes and sometimes splitting them in two \u2013 to double the stakes and create intriguing parallels that make for a particularly captivating story. It also blends the espionage elements of the first season with the more military atmosphere of the second one in a smartly crafted plot that weaves together oil interests, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, double agents, and negotiations between intelligence agencies \u2013 all tied together with the core plot of the first season\u2019s infiltration in a conclusion that, for the first time, successfully builds genuine anticipation for the next season. From that perspective, it may be less original than it was at the start, but this season is certainly more sophisticated and likely stands out as the best of the series so far.<\/p><p>But while the plot is strong \u2013 as are the writing and direction \u2013 this season also sparks intrigue because of the ideological ambiguity it fosters. Indeed, if we begin to view this season through a political lens and examine its underlying message, \u201cLioness\u201d truly serves as a plea for greater security, driven by events that promote a strongly pro-gun, anti-regulation, and anti-establishment narrative regarding media disinformation \u2013 all within an (American) worldview characterized by constant threats and, consequently, a constant need for security, with no prospect of peace in sight. The espionage plot even ventures \u2013 admittedly in an interesting way \u2013 into scenarios that are strongly anti-allied and anti-Ukraine. On the other hand, this same season does not downplay the gravity of its actions \u2013 a murder is a murder; it is not merely collateral damage of war \u2013 by delving quite deeply into the consequences of the CIA\u2019s mistakes and missteps (civilian killings, a pointless exchange, a goldmine of intelligence sacrificed).
