Or, reprenant donc cette formule, cette seconde saison perd son aspect novateur et donc l\u2019un de ses points forts dans un march\u00e9 surcharg\u00e9 en s\u00e9ries m\u00e9dicales, mais elle conserve sa dimension hyper r\u00e9aliste et sa mise en sc\u00e8ne appropri\u00e9e de grande qualit\u00e9 qui offrent un excellent encha\u00eenement de situations en variant les cas, en variant les tons, et en variant les points de vue des personnages soit li\u00e9s \u00e0 un patient soit entre eux sur des dynamiques personnelles ou professionnelles. D\u2019un point de vue sc\u00e9nique, c\u2019est donc extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9cis et organis\u00e9 dans les mouvements de chacun et dans la gestion du rythme sur chaque \u00e9pisode. Si le montage particuli\u00e8rement bien pens\u00e9 et l\u2019hyper-pr\u00e9cision de la r\u00e9alisation offrent une immersion de grande qualit\u00e9 d\u2019un point de vue m\u00e9dical, entre des dialogues techniques, des effets pratiques ou des cam\u00e9ras dans les gorges, l\u2019ensemble reste bien \u00e9videmment aussi r\u00e9ussi gr\u00e2ce aux superbes performances des acteurs qui n\u2019ont pas tous \u00e0 jouer des personnages dans leur meilleur jour.<\/p><p>Toujours aussi d\u2019actualit\u00e9, cette seconde saison s\u2019attaque \u00e0 de nombreux sujets, parfois de mani\u00e8re un peu trop soulign\u00e9e mais toujours de mani\u00e8re coh\u00e9rente avec les th\u00e9matiques soci\u00e9tales de la s\u00e9rie. Durant cette nouvelle garde qui se d\u00e9roule, choix symbolique, le 4 juillet, \u00e0 chaque entr\u00e9e de patient c\u2019est une nouvelle injustice sociale qui passe la porte des urgences, de la victime de viol aux fr\u00e8re et s\u0153ur isol\u00e9s depuis la d\u00e9portation de leurs parents, en passant par un p\u00e8re de famille diab\u00e9tique minimisant son \u00e9tat par peur d\u2019avoir \u00e0 d\u00e9bourser les frais d\u2019hospitalisation. Il y est ainsi question de l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins entre des assurances exorbitantes et une g\u00e9ographie de campagne s\u00e9gr\u00e9gu\u00e9e, mais aussi de la sur-num\u00e9risation des proc\u00e9dures et de l\u2019introduction de l\u2019IA dans la m\u00e9decine, sans oublier les ravages du fentanyl ou encore les r\u00e9percussions de la tristement c\u00e9l\u00e8bre ICE (agence anti-immigration devenue milice priv\u00e9e du gouvernement Trump II) \u00e0 travers les blessures de policiers ou son impact sur le personnel hospitalier. \u00ab\u00a0The Pitt\u00a0\u00bb continue donc de manifester un fort esprit de r\u00e9sistance en auscultant une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en phase terminale \u00e0 travers des cas refl\u00e9tant sp\u00e9cifiquement les r\u00e9centes d\u00e9cisions de l\u2019administration actuelle. L\u2019on rentre en effet plus dans leurs difficult\u00e9s personnelles dans ce second volet, entre les acc\u00e8s de col\u00e8re d\u2019un chef \u00e0 bout, le traumatisme persistant d\u2019une infirmi\u00e8re, les tendances agressives des uns face aux risques de burnout des autres. La sant\u00e9 mentale du personnel soignant est\u00a0 abord\u00e9e sous de multiples facettes et plus que jamais au c\u0153ur des enjeux de cette seconde saison, sans oublier les d\u00e9fis que repr\u00e9sente un service d\u2019urgences en manque de personnels et sous coupes budg\u00e9taires, et le stress d\u2019un avenir incertain pour ses jeunes docteurs qui sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des choix parfois tactiques et non d\u00e9sir\u00e9s face \u00e0 la surcharge de certaines fili\u00e8res. Mais la s\u00e9rie n\u2019oublie pas de diversifier sa troupe, notamment avec une \u00e9quipe de nuit \u00e0 l\u2019ambiance tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0The Pitt\u00a0\u00bb excelle dans sa mise en sc\u00e8ne d\u2019un chaos ordonn\u00e9, o\u00f9 les personnages ont \u00e0 peine le temps d\u2019aller aux toilettes, toujours tous sous tension pour diverses raisons dans un huis-clos parfois asphyxiant \u2013 sans toutefois atteindre le sommet du final de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente saison qui se terminait trois heures apr\u00e8s la fin de la garde de 12 heures des soignants suite \u00e0 une fusillade de masse en ville. N\u00e9anmoins, il faut souligner que cette saison 2 r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 ne pas reproduire la structure de sa pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseuse, sans avoir de catastrophe majeure qui viendrait \u00e0 prolonger la garde et mobiliser l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9quipe dans un acte final. Or, de par sa structure atypique dans le paysage s\u00e9riel actuel de 15 \u00e9pisodes suivant une garde de seulement 12 heures, elle doit in\u00e9vitablement trouver des raisons de prolonger la garde. Mais cette fois, elle r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 organiser la trame diff\u00e9remment avec deux grands d\u00e9fis divisant la saison et de multiples probl\u00e8mes s\u2019accumulant au fil d\u2019une longue, chaotique et \u00e9reintante journ\u00e9e. However, by repeating this approach, this second season loses its innovative edge \u2013 and thus one of its key strengths in a market oversaturated with medical dramas \u2013 but it retains its hyper-realistic quality and its high-caliber, well-executed direction, which deliver an excellent flow of situations by varying the medical procedures, emotional tones, and the characters\u2019 perspectives \u2013 whether they relate to a patient or to one another through personal or professional dynamics. From a staging perspective, it is therefore extremely precise and organized in terms of everyone\u2019s movements and the pacing of each episode. While the particularly well-thought-out editing and the hyper-precision of the direction offer a high-quality immersion from a medical standpoint \u2013 between technical dialogue, practical effects, and cameras in the throats \u2013 the whole thing is obviously just as successful thanks to the superb performances of the actors, not all of whom have to play characters in their best light.<\/p><p>As relevant as ever, this second season tackles a wide range of issues, sometimes in a slightly heavy-handed way but always consistent with the series&rsquo; social themes. During this new shift \u2013 which, in a symbolic choice, takes place on July 4 \u2013 every patient who walks through the ER\u2019s doors brings with them a new social injustice, from a rape victim to a brother and sister left isolated after their parents\u2019 deportation, not to mention a diabetic father downplaying his condition for fear of having to pay hospital fees.
