Telle est la s\u00e9quence d\u2019ouverture qui donne imm\u00e9diatement le ton de cette excellente s\u00e9rie isra\u00e9lienne d\u2019espionnage produite et diffus\u00e9e sur la cha\u00eene <em>Kan 11<\/em> et <em>Apple TV<\/em> dans le monde.<\/p><p>C\u2019est simple, \u00ab\u00a0Tehran\u00a0\u00bb s\u2019impose comme le renouveau des grandes s\u00e9ries d\u2019espionnage, quelque part entre \u00ab\u00a0Homeland\u00a0\u00bb et le chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre fran\u00e7ais du genre \u00ab\u00a0Le Bureau des L\u00e9gendes\u00a0\u00bb. La s\u00e9rie co-cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Dana Eden, Maor John et Moshe Zonder (cosc\u00e9nariste de la s\u00e9rie muscl\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Fauda\u00a0\u00bb sur des op\u00e9rations d\u2019infiltration du renseignement militaire isra\u00e9lien en territoires occup\u00e9s palestiniens) met en sc\u00e8ne une agente, et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment une hackeuse, du Mossad infiltr\u00e9e dans la capitale persane pour emp\u00eacher un radar de d\u00e9tecter un raid d\u2019avions de Tsahal sur un r\u00e9acteur nucl\u00e9aire enfoui dans le d\u00e9sert.<\/p><p>Au gr\u00e9 de dialogues en farsi, h\u00e9breu et anglais, l\u2019intrigue d\u00e9veloppe un r\u00e9cit complexe et haletant m\u00ealant enjeux g\u00e9opolitiques, retournements de situation et qu\u00eate de soi sur fond de divisions au sein d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 iranienne d\u00e9peinte sans manich\u00e9isme. Le sc\u00e9nario explore de riches personnages dans une progression coh\u00e9rente et fluide entre une protagoniste qui red\u00e9couvre un pays de naissance qui lui est \u00e0 la fois familier et hostile, un officier des Gardiens de la R\u00e9volution traquant l\u2019ennemi sioniste tiraill\u00e9 entre loyaut\u00e9 et humanit\u00e9, et une jeunesse d\u2019opposition o\u00f9 le voile est proscrit mue par une soif inextinguible de libert\u00e9 mais dont l\u2019exploration par la protagoniste va se heurter \u00e0 son r\u00f4le ultime de destruction. La s\u00e9rie continue ainsi de donner un visage humain \u00e0 ses personnages les plus sombres et les plus cruels tandis que notre jeune protagoniste devenue hors la loi au pays des mollahs gagne en densit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle. This is the opening sequence that immediately sets the tone for this excellent Israeli spy series, produced and broadcast on Kan 11 and Apple TV worldwide.<\/p><p>\u201cTehran\u201d clearly stands out as the new great spy series, somewhere between \u201cHomeland\u201d and the French masterpiece of the genre, \u201cThe Bureau\u201d. The series, co-created by Dana Eden, Maor John, and Moshe Zonder (co-writer of the gritty series \u201cFauda,\u201d which dealt with Israeli military intelligence infiltration operations in the occupied Palestinian territories) features a Mossad agent \u2013 specifically, a hacker \u2013 who has infiltrated Iran\u2019s capital to prevent a radar system from detecting an Israeli Air Force raid on a nuclear reactor deep in the desert.<\/p><p>Through dialogue in Farsi, Hebrew, and English, the plot unfolds a complex and gripping narrative that blends geopolitical stakes, plot twists, and a quest for self-discovery against the backdrop of divisions within an Iranian society portrayed without simplistic dichotomies. The screenplay explores richly drawn characters through a coherent and smooth storyline involving a protagonist who rediscovers her homeland \u2013 a place that is both familiar and hostile to her \u2013, a Revolutionary Guard officer tracking the Zionist foe, torn between loyalty and humanity, and a youth opposition movement where the veil is banned, driven by an unquenchable thirst for freedom \u2013 yet the protagonist\u2019s exploration of this movement will clash with her ultimate role of destroyer.
