T\u00e9h\u00e9ran \u00bb &amp; \u00ab Un Simple Accident \u00bb avec Nader Saeivar (Trois Visages) qui r\u00e9alise ici son troisi\u00e8me long-m\u00e9trage, tourn\u00e9 sans autorisation en Iran avant de quitter le pays \u00e0 son tour. Ce film engag\u00e9 fait \u00e0 nouveau \u00e9cho au mouvement <em>Femme, Vie, Libert\u00e9<\/em> et au courage des femmes iraniennes luttant pour leurs droits, en mettant en sc\u00e8ne une professeure \u00e0 la retraite toujours pr\u00eate \u00e0 aider ses coll\u00e8gues et sa famille, qui va d\u00e9cider de t\u00e9moigner contre un homme sans autre preuve que sa propre parole. Cette femme en qu\u00eate de justice va alors subir des pressions venues de toute part, y compris de sa propre famille \u2026<\/p><p>C\u2019est une \u0153uvre forte m\u00ealant l\u2019intime et le politique tout en int\u00e9grant la fiction \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 dans une intrigue particuli\u00e8rement bien ficel\u00e9e et rythm\u00e9e dans une fine narration \u2013 \u00e0 l\u2019exception d\u2019un tr\u00e8s l\u00e9ger didactisme lors d\u2019une s\u00e9quence \u2013 d\u00e9veloppant sobrement mais subtilement ses personnages dressant un poignant portrait du courage f\u00e9minin tout en questionnant la notion de maternit\u00e9\u00a0: la protagoniste \u00e9tant \u00e0 la fois la m\u00e8re biologique d\u2019un fils, la m\u00e8re adoptive d\u2019une fille, et la m\u00e8re contractuelle d\u2019un mari\u00a0! Le film montre ainsi non seulement les m\u00e9canismes d\u2019oppression, notamment \u00e0 travers la pression psychologique jouant sur l\u2019affection des proches, mais d\u00e9peint aussi une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 gangr\u00e9n\u00e9e par une corruption patriarcale qui fait payer un lourd tribut pour tout engagement politique. Il brosse enfin le portrait d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui veut s\u2019ouvrir et d\u2019une jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration qui souffle un vent de changement symbolis\u00e9 par la danse comme forme d\u2019art d\u2019\u00e9mancipation \u00e0 l\u2019image de l\u2019excellente et m\u00e9taphorique sc\u00e8ne de fin.<\/p><p>Port\u00e9 par la remarquable pr\u00e9sence de Maryam Boubani \u2013 aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Nader Naderpour, Hana Kamkar et de la jeune Ghazal Shojaei (Happiness) \u2013 qui a soutenu le mouvement social en retirant son hijab, \u00ab\u00a0La Femme qui en savait trop\u00a0\u00bb construit un tr\u00e8s beau suspense dans une mise en sc\u00e8ne \u00e9l\u00e9gante avec de magnifiques plans d\u2019ext\u00e9rieurs et des cadres travaill\u00e9s en int\u00e9rieurs. This politically committed film once again echoes the <em>Woman, Life, Freedom<\/em> movement and the courage of Iranian women fighting for their rights, depicting a retired teacher who is always ready to help her colleagues and family, and who decides to testify against a man with no evidence other than her own word. This woman in search of justice then comes under pressure from all sides, including her own family&#8230;<\/p><p>This is a powerful work that blends the personal and the political, integrating fiction and reality in a particularly well-crafted and well-paced plot with subtle narration \u2013 with the exception of a very slight didacticism in one sequence \u2013 tersely but skillfully developing its characters and depicting a poignant story of female courage while questioning the notion of motherhood: the protagonist being at once the biological mother of a son, the adoptive mother of a daughter, and the contractual mother of a husband! The film thus not only shows the mechanisms of oppression, particularly through psychological pressure exerted over the affection of loved ones, but also unveils a society plagued by patriarchal corruption that exacts a heavy toll on any political activism. Finally, it portrays a society that wants to open up and a young generation that is blowing a wind of change, symbolized by dance as an art form of emancipation, as seen in the brilliant and poetic final scene.<\/p><p>Led by the remarkable presence of Maryam Boubani \u2013 alongside Nader Naderpour, Hana Kamkar, and the young Ghazal Shojaei (Happiness) \u2013 who supported the social movement by removing her hijab, The Woman Who Knew Too Much builds a beautiful suspense in an elegant staging with beautiful exterior shots and carefully crafted interior frames. This is a rich and intelligent film whose original title (meaning \u201cWitness\u201d) not only describes the delicate position in which the protagonist finds herself, but also brings to mind the weight of national surveillance and the widespread fear that the Iranian authorities spread throughout their society, echoing the name of the most widely used drone in the world today due to its
