Voil\u00e0 de quel qualificatif on pourrait affubler le film \u00ab Crasse \u00bb, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par la prometteuse r\u00e9alisatrice britannique Luna Carmoon. La crasse et l\u2019accumulation (hoard en anglais pour ce second mot, titre original de l\u2019\u0153uvre), ce sont en effet les deux versants d\u2019une m\u00eame montagne sensorielle et de reliques qu\u2019\u00e9rige Maria, une jeune femme de 18 ans en pleine crise identitaire et \u00e0 la recherche subconsciente du souvenir de sa m\u00e8re biologique. Or, Maria est aussi agr\u00e9ablement incernable que le long-m\u00e9trage qui en raconte l\u2019histoire.<\/p><p>L\u2019on peut scinder \u00ab Crasse \u00bb en deux parties : la premi\u00e8re, relativement courte mais pas assez pour parler de prologue, explique en effet la seconde, englobant tout le reste du film. La longue s\u00e9quence introductive nous pr\u00e9sente le paradis insalubre de Maria, huit ans en 1984, qu\u2019a cr\u00e9\u00e9 sa m\u00e8re dans une maison absolument sens dessus dessous. Le syndrome de Diog\u00e8ne dont souffre la m\u00e8re de Maria est de fait transform\u00e9 en un amoncellement mat\u00e9riel d\u2019amour, et ce qui nous para\u00eet immonde devient alors une th\u00e9saurisation de d\u00e9chets en quelque chose de profond\u00e9ment magique et affectueux. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019advienne un accident domestique qui va s\u00e9parer Maria de sa m\u00e8re. En 1994, notre h\u00e9ro\u00efne r\u00eaveuse \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans un foyer aimant a bien grandi, mais elle a gard\u00e9 son \u00e2me d\u2019enfant. Les cours se terminant, une id\u00e9e saugrenue et inconsciente lui vient \u00e0 l\u2019esprit : celle de s\u2019encrasser et de d\u00e9nicher \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0 des objets qu\u2019elle compte garder. Et dans cette petite folie, Michael, \u00e9pris et tomb\u00e9 amoureux de ce dr\u00f4le de brin de femme, va d\u00e9cider de l\u2019accompagner.<\/p><p>Long synopsis pour expliquer l\u2019irrationnel de Maria, conc\u00e9dons-le, mais aussi pour signifier que \u00ab Crasse \u00bb est d\u2019une bizarrerie fascinante. Parce que malgr\u00e9 le concept de base, le film est de surcro\u00eet d\u2019une l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 et d\u2019une volupt\u00e9 surprenantes. Nombreuses sont effectivement les sc\u00e8nes d\u2019exaltation sensorielle de Maria dans ses doux d\u00e9lires, et le film est par ailleurs bien plus comique que tragique. That&rsquo;s what you might call the film \u201cHoard\u201d, directed by promising British filmmaker Luna Carmoon. Dirt and hoard are the two sides of the same sensory mountain of relics erected by Maria, an 18-year-old woman in the midst of an identity crisis and subconsciously searching for the memory of her biological mother. But Maria is as pleasantly unnerving as the movie that tells her story.<\/p><p>\u201cHoard\u201d can be divided into two parts: the first, relatively short but not short enough to be considered a prologue, in fact explains the second, encompassing the whole remainder of the film. The long opening sequence introduces us to eight-year-old Maria&rsquo;s insalubrious paradise in 1984, created by her mother in a house that is absolutely upside down. The Diogenes syndrome from which Maria&rsquo;s mother suffers is in fact transformed into a material heap of love, and what seems filthy to us then becomes a hoarding of garbage into something profoundly magical and loving. Until a domestic accident separates Maria from her mother. In 1994, our dreamy heroine raised in a loving home has grown up, but she&rsquo;s still a child. As school comes to an end, she comes up with a crazy, unconscious idea: to get dirty and find objects here and there that she intends to keep. And in this little folly, Michael, who has fallen in love with this strange woman, decides to join her.<\/p><p>Admittedly, this is a long summary to explain Maria&rsquo;s irrationality, but it also goes to show that \u201cHoard\u201d is fascinatingly odd. Because, despite the basic concept, the film is also surprisingly light and delightful. There are many scenes of Maria&rsquo;s sensory exaltation in her sweet delirium, and the film is far more comic than tragic. What comes out is a form of joy and amusement that bonds us to this crazy girl and drives us just as crazy, which is an achievement.<\/p><p>Axel
