Cette critique ne rentre donc volontairement pas dans toute l\u2019ampleur du sujet d\u2019un tel film tant elle est sid\u00e9rante et se r\u00e9v\u00e8le au gr\u00e9 des probl\u00e8mes et d\u00e9viations rencontr\u00e9s et emprunt\u00e9s par la r\u00e9alisatrice dans son projet.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0De la Guerre Froide \u00e0 la Guerre Verte\u00a0\u00bb fait ce que tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019autres films parviennent \u00e0 faire\u00a0: il r\u00e9unit un r\u00e9cit historique complexe et une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 contemporaine complexe \u00e0 travers une expression artistique coh\u00e9rente. C\u2019est un documentaire qui explore des sujets interconnect\u00e9s, r\u00e9v\u00e8le des faits inconcevables, donne des chiffres ahurissants, et r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 mettre le tout en image dans une structure narrative captivante et esth\u00e9tique. Today, the border between Paraguay and Brazil constitutes a quasi-independent cross-border territory, cradle of the global agro-industry, known as the Soya Republic.<\/p><p>Six years after the coup, Anna Recalde Miranda returned to Paraguay to document the history of her ancestral homeland, examining a past dictated by political violence and a present shaped by economic violence. She seeks out the roots of this violence by exploring the foundations of the deadly transnational repressive system that was Operation Condor on the Latin American continent, a true multinational of repression whose legacy is reflected even in an environmental disaster (excessive temperatures, droughts, fires) through a vast ecocidal industrial model.<\/p><p>Anna Recalde Miranda has crafted a particularly powerful documentary, the subject of which has gradually evolved over the course of the investigation into the limbo of a past and present that merge into an endless horizon, a green desert. This review deliberately does not go into the full scope of the subject matter of such a film, as it is staggering and reveals itself through the problems and detours faced and taken by the director in her project.<\/p><p>\u201cGreen is the new Red\u201d does what very few other films manage to do: it brings together a complex historical narrative and a complex contemporary reality through a coherent artistic expression. It&rsquo;s a documentary that explores interconnected subjects, reveals inconceivable facts, gives mind-boggling figures, and manages to put it all together in a captivating and aesthetically beautiful narrative structure. Di conseguenza questa recensione non sviluppa tutta l\u2019ampiezza dell\u2019argomento di un tale film perch\u00e9 \u00e8 tanto sbalorditiva e si rivela con la successione di problemi e di deviazioni incontrate e scelte dalla regista nel suo progetto.<\/p><p>\u201cDalla guerra fredda alla guerra verde\u201d face quello che pochissimi altri film riescono a fare : riunisce un racconto storico complesso ed una realt\u00e0 contemporanea complessa tramite un\u2019espressione artistica coerente. \u00c8 un documentario che esplora argomenti interconnessi, rivela fatti inconcepibili, d\u00e0 cifre sconcertanti, e riesce a dare vita con immagini a tutta questa complessit\u00e0 in una struttura narrativa cattivante ed estetica.
