Oui il y a bien des connexions avec le reste de l\u2019univers (plus qu\u2019en premi\u00e8re saison d\u2019ailleurs) mais celles-ci n\u2019ont aucun impact direct sur l\u2019histoire et ne cr\u00e9ent pas de poids \u00e9motionnel suppl\u00e9mentaire. \u00ab\u00a0Andor\u00a0\u00bb n\u2019est pas con\u00e7ue pour les fans de la saga, il n\u2019y a pas de Jedi, pas de Force, pas de <em>fan-service<\/em> ou de cam\u00e9os accessoires, car tout dans la s\u00e9rie se trouve dans sa construction (sc\u00e9nario, mise en sc\u00e8ne, design), et \u00e7a c\u2019est bien \u00e0 la port\u00e9e de tous publics. Qu\u2019on n\u2019ait jamais vu \u00ab\u00a0Rogue One\u00a0\u00bb (le film qui suit directement les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de la s\u00e9rie dans la chronologie <em>Star Wars<\/em>, ni les autres s\u00e9ries de l\u2019univers, ni m\u00eame les films d\u2019origine, ou que l\u2019on soit fin connaisseur, \u00ab\u00a0Andor\u00a0\u00bb aura toujours autant d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et d\u2019impact \u2013 du moment que l\u2019on accepte une narration subtile qui joue des non-dits (notamment dans les ellipses de cette saison) et des parall\u00e8les historiques, visuels, et th\u00e9matiques entre personnages.<\/p><p>Trois ans apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re saison d\u00e9j\u00e0 extr\u00eamement riche et fine, Tony Gilroy poursuit donc le parcours de mutation de son protagoniste-titre autour d\u2019une galerie de personnages nuanc\u00e9s et tous divis\u00e9es selon plusieurs lignes de fractures. Cette seconde et ultime saison se concentre tout particuli\u00e8rement sur les probl\u00e9matiques de confiance et de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans un monde o\u00f9 cette derni\u00e8re est attaqu\u00e9e de toutes parts, o\u00f9 des croyances sont effac\u00e9es, o\u00f9 les m\u00e9dias sont utilis\u00e9s pour de la propagande. La trame oppose ainsi un effort d\u2019unification qui passe par une structuration contrainte des militants libertaires \u00e0 un effritement d\u2019une machine de carri\u00e9ristes pr\u00e9tendant servir une id\u00e9ologie. Elle oppose d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 la r\u00e9bellion qui tourne le dos au romantisme r\u00e9volutionnaire et fait l\u2019apprentissage du r\u00e9alisme militaire\u00a0; et de l\u2019autre l\u2019Empire dont les fonctionnaires s\u2019enfoncent dans les maquis du crime bureaucratique. Il y a de tout dans cette s\u00e9rie (y compris des moments plus l\u00e9gers et des touches d\u2019humour). Et si le r\u00e9cit peut sembler rapide d\u2019un point de vue structurel, la narration prend suffisamment son temps pour d\u00e9velopper son sujet, approfondir son propos, et mener \u00e0 bout le parcours de tous ses personnages. Entre doubles jeux, int\u00e9r\u00eats crois\u00e9s, manipulation de la population, ambigu\u00eft\u00e9s et conflits moraux \u2013 sur des personnages pr\u00eats \u00e0 sacrifier des vies pour leur cause, dans les deux camps \u2013 tous les personnages se retrouvent divis\u00e9s dans les fronti\u00e8res poreuses entre rebelles et terroristes pour ne pas se perdre dans la radicalisation de la cause. Ce ne sont ni les grands h\u00e9ros mythologiques, ni les grands m\u00e9chants d\u00e9moniaques de l\u2019univers, ce sont des monsieur et madame tout-le-monde questionnant ainsi notre r\u00e9action face aux soubresauts de l\u2019Histoire, au surgissement de la violence.<\/p><p>Port\u00e9 par un excellent casting, c\u2019est aussi une s\u00e9rie qui s\u2019impose comme une v\u00e9ritable \u0153uvre de cin\u00e9ma que ce soit dans le m\u00e9ticuleux travail de cadrage et de montage \u2013 qui nous offre \u00e0 la fois des plans miroirs et des plans symboliques tout en reliant toutes les sc\u00e8nes comme d\u2019un subtil fil conducteur \u2013, dans la multitude de d\u00e9cors construits pour cette saison \u2013 qui refl\u00e8tent les personnages qui les habitent et des lieux de contrastes o\u00f9 s\u2019opposent une architecture de pouvoir et de conqu\u00eate \u00e0 une autre d\u2019identit\u00e9 et de m\u00e9moire \u2013, ou encore dans les d\u00e9tails visuels et sonores de la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une culture s\u2019opposant au conformisme imp\u00e9rial \u2013 langue vernaculaire, accent local, costumes \u00e9voquant la r\u00e9sistance fran\u00e7aise \u2013 ou musicaux avec un op\u00e9ra dans le g\u00e9n\u00e9rique d\u2019un \u00e9pisode comme pr\u00e9monitoire de la trag\u00e9die \u00e0 venir.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20215 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"775\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746.png 1500w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-1024x529.png 1024w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-768x397.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p><p>Tout comme la premi\u00e8re saison, cette seconde et derni\u00e8re est divis\u00e9e en quatre blocs de trois \u00e9pisodes qui racontent chacun un tournant dans l\u2019histoire de la r\u00e9bellion. Mais cette fois-ci, un intervalle d\u2019un an ajout\u00e9 entre chaque bloc. Les spectateurs doivent donc remplir par leur imagination et les suggestions de la narration les ellipses entre chaque semaine de diffusion. En multipliant les sauts dans le temps, la s\u00e9rie resserre alors son action autour de journ\u00e9es marquantes de la petite et grande histoire dans une structure plus exigeante aussi bien pour son intrigue que son public. Le seul regret que l\u2019on peut avoir n\u2019est autre que vouloir passer plus de temps avec ces personnages, mais cela reste tr\u00e8s fort de sugg\u00e9rer l\u2019essentiel de l\u2019\u00e9volution des situations et des personnages apr\u00e8s chaque ellipse, et d\u00e9velopper en profondeur ses th\u00e9matiques malgr\u00e9 cette structure contraignante. Avec son gigantesque budget \u2013 particuli\u00e8rement bien utilis\u00e9 \u2013 \u00ab\u00a0Andor\u00a0\u00bb boucle donc la boucle pour nombre de ses personnages et nous offre des sc\u00e8nes palpitantes, des s\u00e9quences marquantes et des moments gla\u00e7ants dans des dialogues au cordeau et une intrigue pleine d\u2019\u00e9motions qui fait \u00e9cho \u00e0 l\u2019histoire et l\u2019actualit\u00e9.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0Andor\u00a0\u00bb \u00e7a se regarde, \u00e7a ne se consomme pas. \u00c7a s\u2019appr\u00e9cie dans les d\u00e9tails. C\u2019est \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019arm\u00e9e des ombres\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019une galaxie lointaine (tr\u00e8s lointaine) qui fait clairement passer un cap \u00e0 <em>Star Wars<\/em>. Yes, there are connections with the rest of the universe (more so than in the first season, actually), but these have no direct impact on the story and create no additional emotional weight. \u201cAndor\u201d is not designed for fans of the saga: there are no Jedi, no Force, no fan service or incidental cameos, because everything in the series is to be found in its essence (story, direction, design), and this is something that all audiences can relate to. Whether you&rsquo;ve never seen \u201cRogue One\u201d (the film that directly follows the events of the series in the <em>Star Wars<\/em> timeline), the other shows in the universe, and even the original films, or you&rsquo;re a die-hard expert, \u201cAndor\u201d will always have just as much interest and relevance \u2013 as long as you embrace a subtle narrative that relies on the unspoken (especially in this season&rsquo;s ellipses) and on the historical, visual and thematic parallels between characters.<\/p><p>Three years after an already extremely rich and sophisticated first season, Tony Gilroy continues the journey of change of his titular protagonist around a galaxy of nuanced characters, all divided along several fault lines. This second and final season focuses particularly on issues of trust and truth in a world where the latter is under attack from all fronts, where beliefs are being erased, and where the media are being used for propaganda. The plot thus confronts an effort to unify through the forced structuring of libertarian activists with the crumbling of a machine of careerists pretending to serve an ideology. On the one hand, it contrasts the rebellion, which is abandoning revolutionary romanticism and learning military realism; and on the other, the Empire, whose officials are sinking into the maquis of bureaucratic crime. There&rsquo;s everything in this series (including moments of levity and touches of humor). And while the story may seem fast-paced from a structural point of view, the narration takes enough time to develop its plot, delve into its themes and bring all the characters&rsquo; journeys to a close. Amid deception, conflicting interests, manipulation of the population, ambiguities and moral conflicts \u2013 with characters willing to sacrifice lives for their cause, on both sides \u2013 all the protagonists find themselves divided in the porous boundaries between rebels and terrorists, struggling not to get lost in the radicalization of the cause. These are neither the great mythological heroes nor the great devilish villains of the universe, but ordinary people, challenging our reaction to the tremors of history and the rise of violence.<\/p><p>Driven by an outstanding cast, this is also a series that stands out as a true piece of cinema, be it in the meticulous framing and editing \u2013 which offers us both mirror shots and symbolic visuals, all the while weaving all the scenes together like a fine common thread \u2013 or in the plethora of settings built for this season \u2013 which reflect the characters who inhabit them and the contrasting locations, where the architecture of power and conquest clashes with that of identity and memory \u2013 or in the visual and sound details of the creation of a culture opposed to imperial conformism \u2013 vernacular language, local accent, costumes reminiscent of the French resistance \u2013 as well as in the music, with an opera in the closing credits of one episode as a foreshadowing of the tragedy to come.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20215 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"775\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746.png 1500w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-1024x529.png 1024w, https:\/\/rsgproduction.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Snapshot_3746-768x397.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/p><p>Like the first season, this second and final one is split into four blocks of three episodes, each telling the story of a turning point in the history of the rebellion. But this time, a one-year gap has been added between each block. Viewers must therefore fill in the ellipses between each weekly installment, using their imagination and the storytelling&rsquo;s suggestions. By increasing the time jumps, the series then tightens its focus on key days in history, both big and small, in a more challenging structure for both its plot and its audience. The only regret we may have, is that we&rsquo;d like to spend more time with these characters, but it&rsquo;s still very impressive to convey the gist of the evolution of situations and characters after each time jump, and to thoroughly explore its themes in spite of this limiting structure. With its gigantic budget \u2013 particularly well utilized here \u2013 \u201cAndor\u201d comes full circle for many of its characters, delivering thrilling scenes, memorable sequences and chilling moments in sharp dialogue, resonant storytelling and a devastating emotional impact.<\/p><p>\u201cAndor\u201d is to be seen, not just viewed. It can be appreciated in the details. It&rsquo;s the \u201cArmy of Shadows\u201d from a galaxy far, far away, which clearly takes <em>Star Wars<\/em> to a whole new level. And the fact that it uses <em>Star Wars<\/em> iconography to tell its story is secondary to what makes it so excellent and creates one of the best pieces of science fiction in a long time, one of the most enriching prequels, and quite simply one of the best series of the last few years!<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div
