Cette suite s\u2019amuse une nouvelle fois avec un premier \u00e9pisode quasi exclusivement contemplatif et silencieux, avant de revenir sur les personnages du silo que l\u2019on avait quitt\u00e9 et qui font de Juliette une h\u00e9ro\u00efne et bient\u00f4t un symbole d\u2019une libert\u00e9 qu\u2019ils esp\u00e8rent atteignable pour tous. Mais si l\u2019espoir fait vivre, il peut aussi \u00eatre l\u2019\u00e9tincelle qui enflammera une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9visionniste, r\u00e9actionnaire et r\u00e9pressive.<\/p><p>On retrouve donc les \u00e9l\u00e9ments caract\u00e9ristiques de la s\u00e9rie avec son architecture brutaliste, claustrophobe et souterraine, son rythme lent d\u00e9voilant progressivement une intrigue riche en personnages et <em>cliffhangers<\/em> \u00e0 chaque fin d\u2019\u00e9pisode, ainsi que son style visuellement terne et moite. Mais ce qui \u00e9tait avant tout une s\u00e9rie d\u2019intrigue, de myst\u00e8res et d\u2019\u00e9nigmes avec un unique point de vue principal, se concentre cette fois plus sur l\u2019urgence et la survie de l\u2019ensemble de ses personnages que sur une qu\u00eate de v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Il y a donc un changement de ton avec cette seconde saison moins dystopique et m\u00e9taphorique mais toujours aussi politique. C\u2019est plus une course contre-la-montre aussi bien pour la protagoniste que ses anciens coll\u00e8gues du d\u00e9partement \u2018m\u00e9canique\u2019 ou des autorit\u00e9s qui doivent tous faire face aux cons\u00e9quences et r\u00e9percussions du d\u00e9part r\u00e9ussi de Juliette. Les r\u00f4les secondaires prennent alors plus d\u2019importance \u00e0 l\u2019image des personnages de Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Harriet Walter et Tim Robbins.<\/p><p>Cette division de l\u2019intrigue entre Juliette et le reste du silo entra\u00eene une structure narrative divis\u00e9e entre ces deux points de vue qui se r\u00e9pondent comme si l\u2019ensemble des personnages actait ce que Juliette \u00e9tait en train de d\u00e9couvrir. Cet \u00e9quilibre n\u2019est pas toujours aussi r\u00e9ussi mais fonctionne dans l\u2019ensemble et permet de d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux personnages \u00e0 l\u2019image du tr\u00e8s bon Steve Zahn. La mise en sc\u00e8ne et le casting \u00e9tant toujours au rendez-vous, cette seconde saison reste donc tr\u00e8s captivante et r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 maintenir la qualit\u00e9 de la premi\u00e8re notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un superbe \u00e9pilogue tr\u00e8s prometteur !<\/p><p>Le sc\u00e9nario de Graham Yost prend en effet cette fois plus de libert\u00e9s dans l\u2019adaptation du roman d\u2019origine, pour laisser des \u00e9l\u00e9ments dans la prochaine saison qui devra \u00e9galement adapter le second tome qui explore lui la gen\u00e8se des silos et les \u00e9v\u00e9nements politiques ayant conduit \u00e0 leur cr\u00e9ation avant de conclure l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019intrigue dans une quatri\u00e8me et derni\u00e8re saison (adaptant le 3<sup>e<\/sup> roman). This follow-up has fun once again, with an almost exclusively contemplative and silent first episode, before returning to the characters of the silo we&rsquo;d left behind, who make Juliette a heroine and soon a symbol of a freedom they hope is open to all. But if hope is what makes us live, it can also be the spark that will light a revisionist, reactionary and repressive society on fire.<\/p><p>The series&rsquo; hallmark features are once again brought to the fore, with its brutalist, claustrophobic, subterranean architecture, its slow pace gradually unveiling a plot full of characters and cliffhangers at the end of each episode, as well as its muggy, drab visual style. But what was primarily a series of intrigue, mystery and enigma with a single main point of view, this time focuses more on the urgency and survival of its ensemble of characters than on a quest for truth. So there&rsquo;s a change of tone in this second season, which is less dystopian and metaphorical, but still very much political. It&rsquo;s more of a race against time both for the protagonist as well as her former colleagues in \u2018Mechanical&rsquo; or the authorities, who all have to face up to the implications and aftermath of Juliette&rsquo;s successful departure. The supporting roles are then given greater scope with Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Harriet Walter and Tim Robbins becoming more prominent.<\/p><p>This division of the plot between Juliette and the rest of the silo leads to a narrative structure divided between these two points of view, which echo each other as if all the characters were doing\/acting out what Juliette was discovering. This balance isn&rsquo;t always perfect, but it works as a whole and allows us to develop new characters, such as the very good Steve Zahn. With the direction and casting still very good, this second season remains highly captivating and manages to maintain the quality of the first, thanks in part to a brilliant and highly exciting epilogue!<\/p><p>Graham Yost&rsquo;s script this time takes greater liberties in adapting the original novel, to leave elements for the next season, which will also have to adapt the second book, which explores the origins of the silos and the political events that led to their creation, before wrapping up the whole plot in a fourth and final season (adapting the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> novel). This second season of \u201cSilo\u201d therefore further strengthens the series\u2019 track record of the <em>Apple TV+<\/em> streaming service, which is currently expanding its sci-fi universe with the long-awaited sequel to \u201cSeverance\u201d &#8230;<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Rapha\u00ebl
