Elle a comme seule amie, Marie-Claude, avec qui elle partage des confidences et des moments uniques et simples : caf\u00e9, discussions, cueillette de champignons et avenir de son fils Vincent qui sort de prison. Entre elles on sent une amiti\u00e9 sinc\u00e8re li\u00e9e par un secret.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><p>Fran\u00e7ois Ozon filme avec amour cette grand-m\u00e8re ancr\u00e9e dans la solitude d\u2019un cadre bucolique. Michelle attend avec impatience pour les vacances de la Toussaint sa fille Val\u00e9rie et son petit-fils Lucas. Ce dernier doit passer la semaine avec elle. Entre la fille et la m\u00e8re, la tension est palpable. Les mots sont durs et la communication impossible. Apr\u00e8s un repas qui cause une intoxication alimentaire \u00e0 sa fille, due \u00e0 des champignons non comestibles, cette derni\u00e8re l\u2019accuse d\u2019avoir voulu l\u2019empoisonner. Val\u00e9rie quitte la maison emmenant Lucas \u00e0 Paris. Le d\u00e9sarroi s\u2019empare de Michelle.<\/p><p>A ce moment du film, la situation va basculer. C\u2019est l\u2019effondrement ! Michelle se retrouve seule face \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements qu\u2019elle d\u00e9cide d\u2019affronter dignement. Elle propose \u00e0 Vincent pour l\u2019aider \u00e0 se r\u00e9ins\u00e9rer d\u2019effectuer des petits travaux de jardinage. Vincent, touch\u00e9 par la tristesse de Michelle, d\u00e9cide de se rendre \u00e0 Paris afin de rencontrer Val\u00e9rie. Ce qui se passera restera une \u00e9nigme.<\/p><p>Tout s\u2019oriente alors vers un film noir. Des enjeux intra-familiaux, des secrets enfouis qui surgissent, des v\u00e9rit\u00e9s enfin dites. Fran\u00e7ois Ozon signe un film juste sur les liens complexes qui unissent les personnes d\u2019une famille. Les failles de chacun, les responsabilit\u00e9s et la notion de culpabilit\u00e9. Peut-on tout dire, tout accepter ? Et quel est le prix \u00e0 payer pour vivre en paix avec soi-m\u00eame ? Les personnages sont ambigus, troubles et cependant si attachants.<\/p><p>O\u00f9 est la morale ?<\/p><p>Pierre Lotin en fils repris de justice et fils aimant est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment majeur du film. Personnage ambivalent, inqui\u00e9tant. Il est le d\u00e9cideur de l\u2019avenir de Michelle avec son accord tacite. Pas de mots, des regards et des choix. On se d\u00e9brouille comme on peut.<\/p><p>Michelle (H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Vincent) joue une magnifique grand-m\u00e8re au pass\u00e9 trouble et amoral. Elle \u00e9volue, s\u2019affirme, s\u2019apaise et s\u2019accorde le droit d\u2019\u00eatre heureuse. Bien s\u00fbr, l\u2019innocence ne fait partie de son personnage. Elle a sa part de myst\u00e8re qui p\u00e8sera tout au long du film. Mais ce prix sera celui du bonheur gagn\u00e9 et de la s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 enfin trouv\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de son petit-fils.<\/p><p>Fran\u00e7ois Ozon filme cette femme \u00e2g\u00e9e avec ses rides qui la rendent \u00e9mouvante, belle et forte. Il arrive \u00e0 tisser ce lien fort entre tous ses personnages. Le th\u00e8me de la famille, du lien, sont indissociables du paysage de cette nature r\u00e9confortante, de cet automne naissant.<\/p><p>Tout est film\u00e9 avec bonheur : la nature, la simplicit\u00e9, la solitude et l\u2019automne.<\/p><p>Pierre Lotin en fils \u00e9nigmatique, inqui\u00e9tant est tout simplement extraordinaire. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Vincent \u00e9poustouflante en grand-m\u00e8re. Josiane Balasko en vieille copine fracass\u00e9e par la vie est touchante. Sophie Guillemin en agent de police compr\u00e9hensive, humaine aupr\u00e8s de Lucas, petit-fils tr\u00e8s proche de sa grand-m\u00e8re. Ludivine Sagnier d\u00e9chirante en fille meurtrie.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0Quand vient l\u2019automne\u00a0\u00bb est un film sur l\u2019essence m\u00eame de la famille, sur la place de chacun, m\u00e8re, fille, fils face \u00e0 son histoire. A little paradise of greenery and serenity. She&rsquo;s an engaging, lively, stylish and modern grandmother. Her only friend is Marie-Claude, with whom she shares confidences and unique, simple moments: coffee, discussions, mushroom picking and the future of her son Vincent, just out of prison. Between them, we sense a sincere friendship bound by a secret.<\/p><p>Fran\u00e7ois Ozon lovingly portrays a grandmother anchored in the solitude of a bucolic setting. Michelle is looking forward to the All Saints&rsquo; vacation with her daughter Val\u00e9rie and grandson Lucas. The latter is due to spend the week with her. The tension between daughter and mother is palpable. Words are harsh and communication impossible. After a meal that gives her daughter food poisoning from inedible mushrooms, she accuses him of trying to poison her. Val\u00e9rie leaves the house, taking Lucas to Paris. Michelle is devastated.<\/p><p>At this point in the film, the situation is about to change. It&rsquo;s a total collapse! Michelle finds herself alone in the face of events that she decides to face with dignity. To help Vincent get back on his feet, she offers to do some small gardening jobs. Vincent, touched by Michelle&rsquo;s sadness, decides to go to Paris to meet Val\u00e9rie. What happens next remains an enigma.<\/p><p>Everything then turns to film noir. Intra-family issues, buried secrets that come to light, truths finally told. Fran\u00e7ois Ozon has created an honest film about the complex ties that bind the members of a family. Each person&rsquo;s flaws, responsibilities and the notion of guilt. Is it possible to say or accept everything? And what price do we have to pay to live in peace with ourselves? The characters are ambiguous, troubled and yet so endearing.<\/p><p>But what is the point?<\/p><p>Pierre Lotin&rsquo;s role as an ex-convict and loving son is a key element of the film. He&rsquo;s an ambivalent, disturbing character. He determines Michelle&rsquo;s future with her tacit approval. No words, just looks and choices. We get by as best we can.<\/p><p>Michelle (H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Vincent) plays a magnificent grandmother with a troubled, amoral past. She evolves, asserts herself, calms down and gives herself the right to be happy. Of course, innocence is not part of her character. She has her share of mystery, which will weigh heavily throughout the film. But the price is happiness and serenity with her grandson.<\/p><p>Fran\u00e7ois Ozon portrays this elderly woman with her wrinkles, making her moving, beautiful and strong. He manages to weave a strong bond between all his characters. The theme of family and bonding is inseparable from the landscape of this comforting nature, this dawning autumn.<\/p><p>Nature, simplicity, solitude and autumn are all beautifully captured on camera.<\/p><p>Pierre Lotin as the enigmatic, disquieting son is simply outstanding. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Vincent is stunning as the grandmother. Josiane Balasko as an old friend shattered by life is touching. Sophie Guillemin as an understanding police officer, who is very human to Lucas, a grandson who is very close to his grandmother. Ludivine Sagnier is heartbreaking as the battered daughter.<\/p><p>\u201cWhen the Fall is coming\u201d is a film about the very essence of the family, about the place of each individual \u2013 mother, daughter, son \u2013 in the face of their own history. This is a beautiful film about old age, its joys and sorrows, and the melancholy colors of the fall.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div
