l\u2019\u00e9mergence d\u2019un groupe de rock dans le Leningrad des ann\u00e9es 1980, Kirill Serebrennikov tisse un cin\u00e9ma audacieux qui explore de fa\u00e7on sous-jacente les ruines de l\u2019Union sovi\u00e9tique. Avec \u00ab La Femme de Tcha\u00efkovski \u00bb, le r\u00e9alisateur russe pousse la noirceur qui habite ses films \u00e0 son plus haut degr\u00e9. Ni l\u2019espoir ni la tendresse ne se frayent un chemin dans ce drame \u00e9pais et solitaire.<\/p><p>Au 19e si\u00e8cle Antonina Miliukova, une jeune compositrice brillante et membre du conservatoire, tombe \u00e9perdument amoureuse du compositeur Piotr Tcha\u00efkovski. Apr\u00e8s un premier refus, le compositeur accepte le mariage. Mais cet amour qu\u2019elle lui porte au-del\u00e0 de ne pas \u00eatre r\u00e9ciproque, se confond en une puissante obsession. En acceptant de tout endurer pourvu qu\u2019elle soit \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, la jeune femme bascule dans la folie, et s\u2019oublie au c\u0153ur d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 malade.<\/p><p>En d\u00e9peignant une Russie pr\u00e9r\u00e9volutionnaire, Kirill Serebrennikov nous entra\u00eene dans une fresque morbide, un film o\u00f9 le ciel est absent et les rayons du soleil ne traversent que mal les fum\u00e9es et les brouillards constants. Dans cette atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9touffante, le morbide prend le pas sur absolument tout et le film penche presque dans le noir et blanc, dans cette absence de couleur dont on ne retient peut-\u00eatre que le rouge de la robe. Mais le r\u00e9alisateur de \u00ab La fi\u00e8vre de Petrov \u00bb ne s\u2019arr\u00eate pas aux simples codes du film historique et propose une mise en sc\u00e8ne audacieuse, troublante et bien \u00e9videmment irr\u00e9v\u00e9rencieuse. Que dire de ces d\u00e9cors qui n\u2019en sont pas, de ces ruelles macabres et de cette boue omnipr\u00e9sente. Kirill Serebrennikov nous installe dans un th\u00e9\u00e2tre, il se d\u00e9barrasse de toute profondeur de champ et ce n\u2019est pas le montage qui op\u00e8re la temporalit\u00e9, mais les d\u00e9cors qui se m\u00e9tamorphosent par un sublime jeu de lumi\u00e8re.<\/p><p>\u00ab La femme de Tcha\u00efkovski \u00bb est une prouesse cin\u00e9matographique port\u00e9e par une Aliona Mikha\u00eflova renversante. Oubliez la romance, ici ne r\u00e8gne que le d\u00e9sespoir et la folie. With \u201cTchaikovsky&rsquo;s Wife\u201d, the Russian director pushes the darkness that inhabits his films to its highest degree. Neither hope nor tenderness finds its way into this dense and lonesome drama.<\/p><p>In the 19th century Antonina Miliukova, a brilliant young composer and member of the conservatory, falls madly in love with composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. After a first rejection, the composer accepts the marriage. But the love she bears him, beyond being mutual, becomes a powerful obsession. By accepting to endure everything as long as she is by his side, the young woman falls into madness and forgets herself in the heart of a sick society.<\/p><p>By depicting a pre-revolutionary Russia, Kirill Serebrennikov takes us into a morbid epic, a film where the sky is absent and the sun&rsquo;s rays do not shine through the constant smoke and fog. In this stifling atmosphere, the morbid takes precedence over absolutely everything and the film almost leans towards black and white, in this absence of color from which we perhaps only recall the red of the dress. But the director of \u201cPetrov&rsquo;s Flu\u201d does not stop at the mere conventions of the historical picture and offers a daring, disturbing and obviously irreverent mise en sc\u00e8ne. What can we say about these settings that never really were, about these macabre alleys and this omnipresent mud? Kirill Serebrennikov brings us into a theater, he gets rid of any depth of field and it is not the editing that operates the temporality, but the sets that are transformed by a beautiful light display.<\/p><p>\u201cTchaikovsky&rsquo;s wife\u201d is a cinematographic feat led by a stunning Aliona Mikhailova. Forget the romance, here reigns only despair and madness. This is a film of unbearable darkness, but with a remarkable choreography where realism merges into an inner nightmare.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s
