Les personnages interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par des com\u00e9diennes et des com\u00e9diens talentueux sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la difficult\u00e9 d\u2019exister et \u00e0 la mort.<\/p><p>Le film s\u2019ouvre sur une \u00e9mission grand public assur\u00e9e par un homme de t\u00e9l\u00e9 connu, Edouard, interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par Andr\u00e9 Dussolier. Il sera le fil conducteur entre les personnages. Nous croisons les destins d\u2019une cantatrice, Giovanna, Monica Bellucci oubli\u00e9e et vieillissante, d\u2019une jeune adolescente, Marie-Cerise, Charline Balu harcel\u00e9e et suicidaire, d\u2019un policier, Jean-Paul, Roschdy Zem soucieux de ses enqu\u00eates, d\u2019une m\u00e8re et grand-m\u00e8re, Dolor\u00e8s, Rossy de Palma fantasque et asthmatique, d\u2019un cafetier nostalgique et malheureux, Xavier, Alex Lutz et d\u2019un jeune maquilleur homosexuel, Aidan, amoureux d\u2019un cascadeur anglais h\u00e9t\u00e9ro, Mike.<\/p><p>Tous ses personnages vont se croiser et devront faire face \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9mons et leurs aspirations. Le d\u00e9but du film accompagn\u00e9 de la voix sonore et \u00e9mouvante d\u2018Andr\u00e9 Dussolier nous projette vers une suite d\u00e9cal\u00e9e et joliment nostalgique. La fragilit\u00e9 de Giovanna nous \u00e9meut et donne le ton au film. Monica Bellucci est toute en sensibilit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Alex Lutz est toujours aussi d\u00e9licieux et juste. Quel plaisir de retrouver Rossy de Palma, \u00e9blouissante actrice f\u00e9tiche de Pedro Almodovar ! Charline Balu-Emane, 17 ans, est excellente et surprenante dans son jeu avec son ravisseur.<\/p><p>De grands actrices et acteurs qui auraient pu \u00e9lever le film. Malgr\u00e9 leur talent, les personnages traversent les \u00e9v\u00e8nements d\u2019une mani\u00e8re banale. On aurait aim\u00e9 plus d\u2019envol\u00e9es, moins de l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9. On passe bien vite d\u2019un personnage \u00e0 un autre. On n\u2019a pas le temps de s\u2019attacher.<\/p><p>Les personnages auraient m\u00e9rit\u00e9 plus de profondeur. Le cafetier, jou\u00e9 par Alex Lutz, tr\u00e8s \u00e9mouvant dans son discours n\u2019est pas assez travaill\u00e9. La cam\u00e9ra observe trop rapidement, trop superficiellement des r\u00e9cits si peu analys\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Chacun, face \u00e0 la mort, s\u2019arrange comme il peut. On aime ces personnages \u00e0 la d\u00e9rive, on pourrait s\u2019y attacher mais au fond tout reste maladroit.<\/p><p>Marjane Satrapi aime Paris, la filme avec sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9. Elle montre la fragilit\u00e9 de l\u2019existence. The characters, played by talented actors and actresses, are confronted with the challenges of existence and death.<\/p><p>The film opens with a talk show hosted by a well-known TV personality, Edouard, played by Andr\u00e9 Dussolier. He is the connecting thread between the characters. We follow the destinies of an aging, forgotten opera singer, Giovanna (played by Monica Bellucci), a young teenager, Marie-Cerise (played by Charline Balu), who has been bullied and driven to suicide, a policeman, Jean-Paul (played by Roschdy Zem), who is worried about his cases, and a mother and grandmother, Dolor\u00e8s (played by a whimsical and asthmatic Rossy de Palma), a nostalgic and unhappy cafe owner, Xavier (Alex Lutz), and a young homosexual make-up artist, Aidan, in love with a straight English stuntman, Mike.<\/p><p>All these characters will cross paths and have to face up to their demons and aspirations. The beginning of the film, with Andr\u00e9 Dussolier&rsquo;s moving, sonorous voice, sets the scene for a quirky, nostalgic sequence. Giovanna&rsquo;s fragility moves us and sets the tone for the film. Monica Bellucci gives a highly sensitive performance.<\/p><p>Alex Lutz is as delicious and spot-on as ever. And it&rsquo;s great to rediscover Rossy de Palma, Pedro Almodovar&rsquo;s dazzling fetish actress! Charline Balu-Emane, 17, is excellent and surprising in her relationship with her kidnapper.<\/p><p>These are great actresses and actors who could have elevated the film. Yet despite their talent, the characters go through events in a mundane way. We could have wished for more spirit, less levity. The film moves quickly from one character to another. There&rsquo;s not much time to really get attached.<\/p><p>The characters deserved more depth. The cafe owner, played by Alex Lutz, is very moving in his speech, but isn&rsquo;t developed enough. The camera is too quick to look too superficially at stories that are so poorly analyzed.<\/p><p>Faced with death, each of them copes as best they can. We like these drifting characters, we could become attached to them, but in the end it&rsquo;s all clumsy.<\/p><p>Marjane Satrapi loves Paris, and captures it with sincerity. She shows the fragility of existence. The film remains charming, sometimes even touching, but it&rsquo;s all very (too) cute.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Pascale
