Serveuse dans un bar de la ville, Caiti vit avec les d\u00e9sillusions de l\u2019enfance et le constat d\u2019une Am\u00e9rique ali\u00e9n\u00e9e. Consciente de ses r\u00eaves bris\u00e9s et habit\u00e9e par une force de vie saisissante, Caiti reprend peu \u00e0 peu le chant.<\/p><p>Dans l\u2019intimit\u00e9 de son sujet, Justine Harbonnier porte avec \u00ab\u00a0Caiti Blues\u00a0\u00bb le cri d\u2019une m\u00e9lancolie et d\u2019une am\u00e8re insouciance. Elle aborde ce passage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte qui balaye les r\u00eaves et les bouts de d\u00e9sirs. Une transition tyrannique que le cin\u00e9ma a souvent abord\u00e9e sous le prisme masculin. Avec cette phrase que l\u2019on entend comme quoi les filles sont plus vite matures que les gar\u00e7ons. Pourquoi n\u2019auraient-elles pas le droit \u00e0 cette m\u00e9lancolie, \u00e0 ce refus de la maturit\u00e9\u00a0? Dans son film, la r\u00e9alisatrice porte un regard de femme. Un regard qui d\u00e9voile une complicit\u00e9 entre le regardant et le regard\u00e9, entre la r\u00e9alisatrice et son sujet.
