sous l\u2019influence d\u2019Asghar Farhadi, domine le r\u00e9alisme social, Mani Haghighi signe un thriller r\u00e9aliste \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re du fantastique qui r\u00e9ussit le tour de force de nous faire accepter un postulat de d\u00e9part plus qu\u2019improbable lorsqu\u2019un homme et une femme d\u00e9couvrent par hasard qu\u2019un autre couple leur ressemble trait pour trait.<\/p><p>Les r\u00e9v\u00e9lations arrivant assez t\u00f4t dans l\u2019intrigue, \u00ab\u00a0Les Ombres Persanes\u00a0\u00bb bascule rapidement du thriller \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de personnages avec quatre destins distincts et un d\u00e9veloppement des personnages et de l\u2019intrigue tr\u00e8s r\u00e9ussis. Ce jeu de double et de miroir interroge le spectateur sur ce qu\u2019il voit et brouille la fronti\u00e8re du couple m\u00ealant ainsi les destins de deux familles bien diff\u00e9rentes. Le charme du film doit alors beaucoup \u00e0 l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation \u00e0 la fois subtile et intense de l\u2019excellent duo d\u2019acteurs Taraneh Alidoosti (Leila et ses Fr\u00e8res\u00a0; Le Client) et Navid Mohammadzadeh (La Loi de T\u00e9h\u00e9ran\u00a0; Leila et ses Fr\u00e8res) qui joue chacun un double r\u00f4le et r\u00e9ussit brillamment \u00e0 les diff\u00e9rencier suffisamment pour ne pas perdre le spectateur. La r\u00e9alisation tr\u00e8s soign\u00e9e nous plonge de plus dans un T\u00e9h\u00e9ran nocturne sous une pluie de doute constante, un d\u00e9luge omnipr\u00e9sent tel un environnement \u00e0 la Kurosawa, qui donne \u00e0 l\u2019intrigue une atmosph\u00e8re moite et gla\u00e7ante renforc\u00e9e par la magnifique photographie tout en clair-obscur de Mortez Najafi.<\/p><p>Si le th\u00e8me du double est r\u00e9current au cin\u00e9ma, il ne l\u2019est pas sous l\u2019angle social comme le fait ce film iranien qui interroge ainsi les entraves aux singularit\u00e9s et montre par son sous-texte de forts contrastes entre les deux foyers notamment sur les r\u00f4les assign\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019homme et \u00e0 la femme. L\u2019improbabilit\u00e9 de son point de d\u00e9part \u00e9voque une sensation que connaissent de nombreux Iraniens\u00a0: devoir accepter et vivre dans une situation qui sort de la normale. Il n\u2019y a plus de situation ordinaire dans le pays d\u2019o\u00f9 ce parti pris presque fantastique dans un film r\u00e9aliste. This interplay of pairs and mirrors questions the audience about what they see, and blurs the boundaries of the couple, blending the fates of two very different families. The film&rsquo;s appeal is largely driven by the subtle yet intense performances of the excellent acting duo of Taraneh Alidoosti (Leila\u2019s Brothers; The Salesman) and Navid Mohammadzadeh (Law of Tehran; Leila\u2019s Brothers), each of whom plays a double role and manages to differentiate them well enough to avoid confusion. The film&rsquo;s meticulous direction also immerses us in a nocturnal Tehran under a constant rain of doubt, an ever-present deluge akin to a Kurosawa setting, giving the plot a clammy, ominous atmosphere enhanced by Mortez Najafi&rsquo;s gorgeous chiaroscuro cinematography.<\/p><p>While the theme of doubles is quite common in cinema, it isn&rsquo;t explored from a social perspective, as in this Iranian movie, which questions the constraints on singularity and, through its subtext, reveals stark contrasts between the two households, particularly as regards to gender roles. The unlikelihood of its premise suggests a familiar feeling for many Iranians: having to accept and live in a situation beyond normalcy. There are no longer any ordinary situations in the country, hence this almost fantasy-like twist on a realistic film. Through this dark twinship, Mani Haghighi&rsquo;s screenplay \u2013 co-written with playwright Amir Reza Koohestani \u2013 therefore depicts a vivid picture of their country&rsquo;s disillusionment and subverts its realistic plot.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Rapha\u00ebl
