En quelques mots :
Perçu comme l’un des pires films de l’année 2023, cette suite du match ‘Statham vs énorme requin’ surprend finalement plus que prévu. Evidemment, dès le départ toute notion de réalisme coule au fond des abysses, le concept est du grand n’importe quoi, l’histoire est complètement déjantée, et le scénario est par-dessus le marché très conventionnel et en fait probablement trop. Mais dans ces limites-là, cette suite fonctionne plutôt correctement et pourrait peut-être même s’avérer meilleure que le premier film (oui je sais, unpopular opinion !).

Seen as one of the worst films of 2023, this sequel to ‘Statham vs huge shark’ ends up being more surprising than expected. Obviously, from the outset, any notion of realism sinks to the bottom of the abyss, the concept is complete nonsense, the story is completely crazy, and the screenplay is, on top of that, very conventional and probably goes too far. But within these limits, this sequel works pretty well, and might even be better than the first film (yes, I know, unpopular opinion!).
